Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. Brings Agave Restaurant To Murray Hill
Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., one of New York City’s leading real estate organizations, has signed a lease agreement to bring Agave, a lively Southwestern restaurant and tequila bar to 488 Third Avenue. Located on the northwest corner of East 33rd Street in Murray Hill, this marks the second location for the popular restaurant, with its original outpost downtown in the West Village.
The long-term lease is for 2,028 square-feet of ground floor space, with an additional outdoor space for seating and 75 feet of frontage. Joshua Roth, Vice President, Retail Leasing for Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. represented the landlord on the deal and the tenant was represented by Jason Gerbsman of Hudson.
“We are excited to welcome Agave to Murray Hill, where it will be in the terrific company of other happening bars and eateries,” said Roth. “This location offers prime – and always sought-after – outdoor space for dining alfresco and receives great foot traffic from local residents and visitors to the bustling neighborhood. It’s a perfect second location for this growing restaurant.”
Best known for its award-winning margaritas and crowd-pleasing bottomless weekend brunch, Agave touts an authentic Southwestern menu of creative dishes and cocktails. Agave has also received media recognition including “Best Tequila Bar” by New York Magazine, “Best Margarita” by The Food Network and “America’s Top Tequila Bars’ by USA Today. The restaurant has a curated selection of over 130 of the world’s best tequilas.
488 Third Avenue was formerly the location of Caliente Cab Co. Neighboring tenants include Duane Reade, Sticky’s Finger Joint, Insomnia Cookies, Trader Joe’s, Bareburger, True Value, McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, GNC, Domino’s Pizza, Chase, Joshua Tree and Mercury Bar.
